Final Thoughts:
I love the Crown Princess's style, even though a lot of what she wears is not necessarily what I would wear. To quote Lego Batman, "I only wear black. And really, really dark grey." But this? I'd wear this in a heartbeat.
Her dress is a Camilla Thulin design in amethyst. In some photos from the night, the dress looks burgundy and in some it looks like a deep purple. The same goes for the shoes. In some photos, the heels, which are currently unidentified, appear to be a gunmetal grey. And in some, matte black. Flash photography at night and with dark colors and certain fabrics can be a tricky, tricky thing.
With that in mind, I chose for you a couple of different dresses. The first, a bodycon by Dirass comes in several different colors and the midi length makes it perfect for parties. New Year's Eve, anyone? The second by Ababalaya comes in a couple of different colors. Unfortunately, amethyst is not one of them. But, if you're looking for something with a bit more length and some pretty horizontal pleating at the waist, this might be the one for you.
Victoria paired her dress with a faux fur coat from Filippa K. I live in a warm climate, so the amount of times I need a coat per year can be counted on one hand, but the one I chose from Simplee looks cozy and it's a great price, making it a good option for those of us who never really need a coat.
I chose a shoe from Coutgo to complete the look. Again, the photos may be deceptive, but these come in quite a few colors, so finding one to go with your outfit should be easy. I like a shoe with a little interest when wearing anything midi length or shorter or when wearing a dress with a slit. With the clear portion on the toe and the strappy design, these fit the bill.
Happy Shopping!
